Fahmi Rais, aka Rayan Daniyal, also known as the ‘Brand Wizard,’ is regarded as a man of many talents. He is a branding and public relations thought leader with more than 20 years of industry experience, gained through his time at several MNCs and as an entrepreneur.

In addition, he is also an academic, performance coach, motivational speaker, author, publisher, broadcast veteran and community activist. Best known for his contributions as Singapore’s Malay TV strongman, Rayan launched and spearheaded both free-to-air and cable stations as Vice-President at MediaCorp and Channel Consultant at StarHub, respectively.

In the communication field, Rayan acquired his craft from global industry leaders such as Burson-Marsteller, Ogilvy & Mather and Dentsu. He has provided counsel to more than 50 international brands before heading his own agency, TAG, which was ranked among the top 10 local PR firms in 2003-2004.

In 2015, TAG renamed itself as Rayan Daniyal Consulting to focus on brand marketing and brand risk management. Rayan has chaired regional professional conferences and currently lectures on law and marketing subjects at James Cook University Singapore.

In addition, Rayan was also the Founder and Executive Director of Asia Brand Academy, Southeast Asia’s first and only dedicated ‘branding school’, and an ardent advocate of eSports. An active community leader for more than 25 years, he sat as an elected Board Member for Yayasan Mendaki and the National Youth Council.  In the network circle, Rayan was a member of the Business Times CEO Club and co-founded the CEO Superior Network.

He holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Griffith University, where he ranked at the top of his cohort and subsequently received a placement to pursue a PhD in Ethnographic Studies of Public Relations Practice. Prior to that, he graduated with an Honors Law degree from the University of London and became a member of Lincoln’s Inn of Court.  In his free time, Rayan provides coaching on Body Language, Public Speaking, Charisma and Leadership, Team Building, and Problem Solving.

He has traveled to all 5 continents either as a trade/organizational representative, as an event panel speaker, or as an international judge.
